LIFE, OH LIFE ❗❗
Of all things God made, life is one with no true definition.
Although you came into existence in just a minute,
Yet we can't tell that one minute you'd exit.
Like a mirage, you spread in a distance with so much refinement.
Walking closer in admiration of your glamour,
Only to discover your are nothing but an emptiness.
Life oh life, how do we define you,
when your phenomenon is incomprehensible.
As daring as you are, you chose just two days to tell your story.
First, on the day you came and then, the day you'd depart.
How do we go about your uncertainty, knowing you could depart the very day we set our plans in motion.
Do we fold our arms, awaiting your divergence.
But we'd choose to thrive in every moment you offer,
Till the sure but yet unanticipated hour comes.
Nonetheless, we entreat you depart with grey hairs,
When our mouth has no more weapon of bones,
And our knees, frail and infirm.
So to ease the pain that accompanies you.
